Note that there is a new access for 2024. Do not enter the farmyard, instead we are parking in the old orchard, which is the next gateway towards North Newton from the Farm.

From the A361 (Taunton and the East):
Turn off the A361 just east of Durston, Signposted Hedging and West Newton, shown here heading towards Taunton:
Remain on this road for approximately 1 mile until you arrive at Hedging Farm:
Park in the old Orchard, and follow the blue line to access the shoot.
From the A38 (Bridgwater etc):
Turn off the A38 in North Petherton next to the childrens playground, onto Newton Road:
Remain onn Newton Road (becomes Petherton Road, and then Church road) for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach the Harvest Moon pub.
Keeping the pub on your left, take the next left turn onto Maunsell Road, signposted Durston, Lyng and Maunsell House:
Remain on this road for about 0.8miles, passing Maunsell House on the left, until you reach a hairpin bend with a turning on the right, Turn right here (proceed with caution, it is a horrible turn, but luckily very quiet):
After a short distance at the end of this road, turn RIGHT:
The entrance to the old orchard is almost immediately on the left:
Park in the old Orchard, and follow the blue line to access the shoot.
